Psychologists

Psychologists and psychological associates are registered under the authority of the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991 and the Psychology Act, 1991. As members of the College of Psychologists of Ontario, Psychologists and Psychological Associates must meet rigorous professional entry requirements, adhere to prescribed standards, guidelines and ethical principles and participate in quality assurance activities to continually update and improve their knowledge and skill.

Niki Hoffman,
M.A., C.Psych.Assoc.

Niki brings with her a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology and experience working in both private practice as well in publicly funded mental health services. Niki’s approach with clients includes cognitive behavioural therapy, emotion-focused family therapy, and systems therapy for youth with complex needs.

Dr. Ava-Ann Allman,
Ph.D., C.Psych

Dr. Allman’s experience working with children and adults, as well as her teaching and research experience, allows her to integrate several different schools of therapy including cognitive- behavioural therapy, mindfulness-based therapies, acceptance, and commitment therapy.

Jonny Temple,
Psychometrist, B.ASc.

Jonny brings with him a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science, CogMed Coach Certification and CBIST (Certified Brain Injury Specialist) training. Jonny has years of experience with youth and adults suffering with the effects of acquired brain injury, orthopedic injury and psycho-emotional impairment and trauma.
