Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB)

We understand the physical and mental impact a workplace injury can have and the added pressure of getting back to work. We offer assessment and treatment through the Community Mental Health Program (CMHP) and the Serious Injury Program (SIP) in order to help navigate these issues. Our clinicians are registered providers through the WSIB.

Auto Insurance

We understand the stresses associated with navigating the auto insurance industry after a motor vehicle accident (MVA) and are here to help. Our team’s experience with MVA rehabilitation goes back to the early 1990’s, before the start of No-Fault Insurance. We are experienced working individually and as part of a multidisciplinary team. We welcome communication and collaboration with other healthcare professionals, legal representatives, and insurers. We are registered with Health Claims for Auto Insurance (HCAI) and are in good standing with the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA).

Personal Injury Lawyers

Brainworks has provided medical legal assessments and reports for personal injury lawyers and their clients for over a dozen years. We offer this service in relation to a wide range of disability issues associated with motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-fall incidents, long term disability, and more.

Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC)

We offer assessment and treatment for Veterans dealing with mental health concerns such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and depression. We have clinicians who are registered providers through VAC.

Victim Services

We provide short-term trauma services for individuals who have been victims of violent crimes. We have clinicians who are registered through different regions of Victim Services.

Internet Child Exploitation (ICE)

We provide short-term trauma services for child and youth victims of Internet sexual exploitation. We have clinicians who are licensed and accredited with the ICE program through the Boost Child & Youth Advocacy Centre.

Non-Insured Health Benefits for First Nations and Inuit (NIHB)

We have clinicians who are registered with the NIHB program.

Long-Term Disability Benefits

One of the goals of therapy is removing barriers with return to work and supporting clients through the return-to-work process.

Private

While we offer many services funded by third parties, we also provide services paid out-of-pocket. Many of our services are covered by extended health benefits. As each benefit plan is unique, we highly recommend that individuals confirm the particulars of their entitlements before confirming their first appointment.
