
Arden McGregor, M.A., C. Psych. Assoc., CBIST

A native of Toronto, Arden received her Bachelor of Arts degree (Specialized Honours in Psychology) from York University where she received scholarships and achievement awards. Following receipt of her Master of Arts in Psychology from the University of Toronto, Arden moved to London in 1991 to begin her career in psychology with a focus on brain injury. Following a progressively responsible career in various capacities in the local hospital system, primarily in brain injury, Arden worked for a while in the private sector before launching Brainworks in August 2003. In addition to providing clinical supervision to the staff, Arden also offers psychological assessment and treatment for clients with brain injury, chronic pain and behavioural disorders.
Arden is a member of the College of Psychologists and a certified brain injury specialist and trainer. She has given countless presentations to professionals in brain injury, rehabilitation and behavioural intervention and many presentations to client and family groups. She maintains memberships in over half a dozen professional associations and was a founding partner of Camp Dawn.
Arden and her husband, also a member of Brainworks team, have four children, who are actively involved in music and sports activities.

Gary D. Davies, MSW, MA, RSW

Born and raised mostly in Montreal, Gary received his Master of Social Work from McGill University and a Masters in Social Welfare Policy from McMaster University. He worked in England and Quebec before settling in Ontario. For many years he held positions in the voluntary sector, including over eleven years at London’s brain injury association. He has also worked in children’s services and with other client populations. He joined Brainworks in 2005, where, in addition to managing the Social Work Service, he has had responsibilities in public relations and special projects.
Gary and his wife have three children and three grandchildren. From the age of eight, he has devoted countless hours to school, university, community and church choirs and is presently in his 20th year in the choir at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London. Gary has also served the Ontario Association of Social Workers in several leadership capacities at the local and provincial levels and was one of the founders of Camp Dawn.

Tami Nestor, B.A., B.ScT.
Manager, Clinical Services
Tami Nestor, BA, BScT, is a seasoned case manager, having spent the past decade as a rehabilitation consultant in clinical, third-party service provision, and disability insurance fields. With two highly relevant degrees and previous experience as a behavioural therapist, she has built on her specialized and intensive training in both behavioural science and psychology.
At Brainworks, Tami provides case management services in the Southwestern Ontario region, reviewing each case thoroughly and indentifying appropriate providers and facilities throughout the continuum of care. Tami ensures that available resources are being used in a timely and cost-effective manner in order to obtain optimum value for both the client and the referring agency. Tami has exceptional knowledge of the cognitive, behavioural, psychosocial and physical challenges faced by clients. She is also knowledgeable and well connected with treatment providers throughout Windsor, Essex and beyond. Personable and engaging, Tami communicates equally well with clients and their families, and teams of multi-disciplinary professionals. As case manager, she understands the importance of balancing the needs of all stakeholders, while maintaining a client-centred focus.
With a sharp business sense and motivation to provide optimal cost-benefit options and recommendations, Tami is committed to assisting referral sources to mitigate loss, while promoting the best possible outcomes for clients. Over the years, Tami has been able to build excellent working relationships with treating specialists and community resources, which has assisted her ability to provide cutting-edge, creative and collaborative recovery paths.

She has always been passionate about her work. Having been introduced to the rehabilitation field while still at school, she knew this would be her career path. Hristos Chris Papastamos, BRE, MA
Associate Executive Director

For Hristos Papastamos, the greatest inspiration has always come from watching others experience and achieve far more than they ever dreamed possible. Throughout his twenty years in the field of counselling, he has seen time and again the strength and resilience of the human spirit to overcome all manner of challenges and setbacks.
Having accumulated a wealth of experience counselling individuals, couples, families, groups, organizations and business professionals, Hristos joined our Brainworks staff as rehabilitation therapist in the spring of 2008. He has worked with clients of all ages with all forms of mental health concerns and other personal challenges. His soft-spoken yet direct, encouraging therapy style, combined with an excellent sense of humour, make him ideal for this role.
In addition to his one-on-one therapeutic work, Hristos is also an inspiring speaker and trainer. He has conducted seminars and training sessions for government, and for-profit and not-for-profit organizations in the areas of program development, strategic planning, leadership training, achieving balance between personal and professional life, relationship enhancement, and parenting. Over the years, he has also worked in clinical settings, developing three successful counselling practices.
In the spring of 2009, given his extensive communication and management background, Hristos was promoted to Manager of Community and Professional Services. He was uniquely suited for this management role at Brainworks, which included strategic planning, business development, communication, staff training, and special clinical projects.
Most recently, Hristos has accepted the position of Associate Executive Director. One of his main goals is to further expand Brainworks’ reputation in the community “as the premier rehabilitation organization standing beside its clients, facilitating independence while minimizing disability.” In addition, Hristos continues to carry a therapy caseload, providing rehabilitation therapy / counselling to a number of our clients.

Dennis Radman, HBSc, RRP, CBIST
Manager, Rehabilitation Therapy

Dennis is a graduate of The University of Western Ontario and joined Brainworks in July 2004. He has over 15 years of experience working with people with a wide variety of disabilities and has applied his many skills in cognitive, behavioural and psychosocial rehabilitation to serve Brainworks and its clients. Dennis has extensive brain injury treatment skills, strong vocational and job coaching skills, life and social skills training, computer skills, trained and experienced in behaviour management and speaks Croatian.
In October 2006, in recognition of his dedication, commitment and ability, Dennis was promoted to Senior Rehabilitation Therapist. At the same time, he moved from London to Windsor to accept an appointment as Regional Manager for Essex-Kent, in recognition of Brainworks’ growing clientele in these two areas.
In August 2008, Dennis returned to London to assume the role of Manager, Rehabilitation Therapy. Dennis will continue to be the main contact for rehabilitation therapy throughout Essex and Kent; however, he will now oversee our rehabilitation therapy program throughout Southwestern Ontario, through a system of team leaders supervising Brainworks’ constantly growing number of front line rehabilitation therapists.
