Brainworks Culture
- Brainworks Beliefs
- We treat everyone with respect and dignity.
- We strive for excellence in all that we do.
To be effective, our therapists take on a variety of roles. We work with children, adolescents and adults. We work with our clients in many settings: homes, workplaces, schools and the community. Brainworks staff have extensive knowledge and experience in many types of therapy and apply these skills as required. Our staff have access to and experience with numerous resources in the communities they serve. We participate in many functional and relevant activities that are of interest to our clients in an effort to help them reach their goals. We also collaborate with a host of professionals, including physicians, case managers, speech language pathologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and social workers, to name a few.
In order to take on various roles, work in assorted locations, cooperate with team members, apply skills to each new intervention and participate in a variety of activities we need to adapt ourselves to suit our clients’ needs and goals. Our versatile approach and ability to blend in to the ever-changing treatment milieu is much like the chameleon’s ability to adapt to his environment. This is the essence of the Brainworks Culture.
